Education Programmes
The Junior Trader annual Stock Market challenge started in 2008 and has engaged with hundreds of budding traders – many of whom have since gone on to start careers in financial services. Drawing on career experience, speakers deliver a short series of lectures delivered providing a whistle-stop tour of investment and career roles in The City, after which student teams simulate a trading exercise.

Partner Institutions
Large Financial Institutions rarely offer the work experience to students under 18 due to safeguarding. It is a shame because this valuable experience spawned many of our careers. Through the structured approach Junior Trader offers, Partner Institutions can offer unique behind the scenes experiences for the Junior Trader Alumni, and play a part in improving diversity and accessibility in the city.
